Post-production for Saving Dinah is chugging along. The assembly is done and soon we will begin to consider music, and the few things we need, like the “No Dogs Allowed” TV spot and the YouTube appeal for rescuing Dinah. That should take about 10 days.
While our music is being composed, with likely help from Animal Alliance supporter and set designer extraordinaire Rowland Jefferies, director Stephen Best will be doing the fine cut, and then begin on sound editing. With that done, the next step is color correcting (sometimes called grading) which balances all the shots and adds mood.
Saving Dinah cameraman, Michael Sizer, has been busy making video updates about Animal Alliance campaigns and activities, a task we have long talked about but never had the time to tackle. Check out our latest installment about a free, volunteer-run feral cat TNR clinic by Toronto Street Cats.
Street cats often end up at animal pounds, at risk of being sold to research. Caring for and sterilizing these cats is an important step to preventing such an atrocity from happening.
A big “THANK YOU!” to everyone working for these homeless and orphaned animals!
